I really enjoyed learning German with Mila. Her lessons were always fun, engaging, and well organized, which made it easy to stay motivated and keep improving. Thanks to her support and preparation, I passed my B2 exam earlier than planned. I made a lot of progress during our time together, and the lessons were both effective and enjoyable. I can highly recommend Mila to anyone who wants to improve their German in a relaxed but focused learning environment.

I had the absolute pleasure of having Mila as my German teacher in Zürich. Besides being very well spoken and educated in Deutsch as a language, Mila is also well equipped to work with adults. Learning a new language is hard but my experience with Mila made learning German easier. Mila went above and beyond in curating exercises that helped me so much with practicing grammar and the language principles. Her passion for the language reflects in her teaching style where she pushes you hard to learn but also knows when to pause. Mila is also patient, joyful and easy going. So happy our paths crossed.

Real German lives on the streets and in the mountains, not in the textbooks

The difference between Hochdeutsch and what your neighbours actually speak

Switzerland runs on two Germans: Standard German for contracts, official letters, and the workplace - and Swiss German (Schwiizerdütsch) for everything else: your neighbours, the people at the till, the parents at Kindergarten pickup. Most courses only teach you the first one. We teach you both, and explain the gap between them.

How the courses work

Five levels. One steady pace.

A half-level runs 36 sessions, twice or three times a week, 90 minutes each - about three months to complete. Built to last, not to rush. If you're working against a deadline - a permit renewal, a visa requirement - ask about a faster-paced track when you get in touch.

This isn't just for people going to an office. If you moved here for a partner's job, if you're not working yet, if you're raising kids here, or if you're building a career of your own - the course is shaped around your life, not a job title.
